Notes:	A full refund will ONLY be issued if a student cancels greater than 14 days prior to scheduled course date. Within day 8 and day 14 prior to a scheduled course date, there is a $50.00 fee to cancel or re-schedule a course. There will be no refunds issued for cancellations with 7 days or less of a scheduled course date, or for no-shows on the day of the course, for ANY reason.

Team Resuscitation Training (TRT) - ACLS

Description: The Team Resuscitation Training (TRT) - ACLS Course provides a review the skills needed navigate an adult cardiac resuscitation. Within a 2-Hour TRT session the student / participant will have the oppertunity to review/participate in the following:

• Operations of a Cardiac Monitor (ie., AED Mode, Defibrillation, Cardioversion, Pacing, etc.)
• ACLS Algorithm Review (Cardiac Arrest, Tachyarrhythmia's, Bradyarrhythmia's, ROSC, etc.)
• Basic and Advanced Airway Review
• Vascular Access
• Cardiac Resuscitation Medications
• Team Dynamics 
• Mock Codes
• CPR/Chest Compression practice on adult patients

The TRT curriculum was designed for those Healthcare Professionals who currently certify in the AHA's BLS and ACLS courses utilizing RQI. Much of what is covered in a TRT session are those psychomotor skills taught/covered during an in-person AHA ACLS course; however, are not covered with the AHA's ACLS RQI courses. 

Audience: Personnel staffing emergency, intensive care or critical care departments; emergency medical providers such as Physicians, Residents, Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists and other professionals who may respond to an adult cardiovascular resuscitation.

Prerequisites: Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
